24 Season 6 Leaked on BitTorrent
Written by Smaran on January 06, 2007Episode 1 of the highly anticipated 6th season of “24″ has been leaked onto BitTorrent, even Jack Bauer couldn’t stop it. For those unlucky chaps who don’t know, 24 is the wildly popular TV show that has fans the world over dying for each new episode.
The leak is the work of AsiaTeam, a Spanish language group known to regularly upload TV shows and movies to BitTorrent. Several commenters on mininova are convinced that these are “the real thing” and not fakes. A contact who says she downloaded the torrent just confirmed that it is in fact 100% real.
From the screenshots (1, 2, 3) posted on mininova, it seems the AsiaTeam guys have not only episode 1, but the entire Season 6 Premiere DVD that will be released on January 16th. This DVD contains the the first 4 episodes (screenshot) of 24 season 6, and a preview of episode 5.

Even though my colleague at TorrentFreak tells me it is completely normal in the world of BitTorrent for TV shows to be leaked, I am amazed that something like this could happen.
In July 2005, the pilot episodes of 5 upcoming TV series were leaked onto BitTorrent. Although many believed that it was ABC themselves who had leaked the episodes to get the hype going, it is unlikely that a mainstream content producer would do such a thing. Many upcoming episodes of the TV series Prison Break, among others, have been routinely leaked onto the Internet, and in particular, BitTorrent.
We can’t link to the torrent for obvious reasons, but it’s not hard to find.

Ok, I’ve downloaded and watched all 4. Absolutely chuffing amazing. It’s all about episode 4!!!!!!!!!! Can’t believe i gotta wait 2 whole weeks for episode 5. :)

watched all 4 the other day..excellent quality…and this season is going to be amazing…even though ive seen them already i still plan to watch the premier because its just that good! Jack is GOD!
ok seen all 4 eps ep 4 had me almost crying at one point. when jack you know and the look on you knows face. then the end my jaw was dropped for about 5 whole mins on that.
possibilly the best ep of 24 i have seen so far ever.
WOW, episode 4, it’s the best of 24 i’ve ever seen… i was breathless like 10 minutes i think.
when the first thing happens… i just gotta pause it.
but when the second thing happens….it’s just….well watch it and judge.
being a store manager for blockbuster it’s not that surprising that the eps leaked…They sent us the dvd of those eps a week ago.

OMG Someone please help me. We had a power outage last night and our Fox affiliate f-ed up as did my tivo and I missed the last 45 minutes of the premiere. I’ve downloaded two files that are supposed to be last night’s episode, but I don’t know how to play them. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

yup, that’s right, I already watched 4 episodes of season 6 and 11 minutes preview of the fifth a day and a half before the broadcast comes on FOX, i got it through bitcomet
I downloaded the file but there is no sound coming out! Someone help me download the right codecs to watch this episode. I am desperate!!
