It would be great to see a major crack down on people illegally downloading music and movies and applications.

There should be a blacklist with all the names being public, and also a process by which those on the blacklist can appeal and make their case.

Of course, the rules for what gets you blacklisted must be perfectly clear and laid out simply for everyone to read.

But if someone is found to download a movie (etc.) for free using torrents, they should pay a fine starting around $500 (1st offense), their name should be published publically, they should be on their way to an internet ban, perhaps 2 years for starters.

There should also be a $100 (number to be determined) reward for anyone who captures proof of a banned person using the internet. Capture it on an iphone video (etc.) collect the reward and the offender gets a hefty fine and 2 year internet ban, perhaps a ton of community service or something like that, too.

It’s so pathetic that people steal from others, feel entitled to do so, and think that any efforts to stop criminal activity is wrong.

If you download theatrical movies off the internet you are a criminal, it’s as simple as that. No amount of whining or complaining can disprove that fact.

Grow up, thieves. You don’t get to sit home and steal what people put years of work and millions of dollars into.

Or a movie has no ending or cliffhanger with no 2nd part.(still waiting for the 3rd Underworld)
Give me my damn money back for the things that I do not like.(like 8 tracks of a 9 track music CD)
I have Deleted 98% of the the things I have dloaded and the other stuff I ended up buying. Digital content is junk. Oh and I PAID my cable bill, therefore I BOUGHT the rights to TV PROGRAMS.
