Hmm, interesting point is that Hannibal Pictures is mentioned as copyright holder, but on their site they mention the domestic rights for this movie are transferred to Image Entertainment as reported in The Hollywood Reporter. So, from who did Contra Piracy obtained the rights and on what date. The transferdate of the domestic rights is also important… The news article in THR is 9/9/2011, quite old news…

Everything you just posted argues AGAINST your own contention that “schools are exempt from copyright infringement.”

Also, “Fair Use” isn’t a right; it’s a legal argument. Fair Use can ONLY be decided by a judge, I’m sad to say.

The above line in the law books is very clearly allowing the school to distribute to the classroom any copyright video.Anyone can say they downloaded and watched a movie for educational purposes it is up to the troll to prove them wrong.

btw regardless of the fact that the MPAA or the RIAA are not involved in this, the copyright act is. funny how only selected people are getting targeted for infringement as per how you all think infringement works. Y not anybody else? seems strange to me.
