@Benjamin Rood... the porn industry would collapse if they had a points system for their actors/actresses. Two major factors in porn's success (besides the obvious) are the sheer amount of films each actor is in and the ease of entry for new players to pick up a camera and get in the game with little overhead to worry about.

Were porn actors getting points they'd have far less incentive to do so many films as they'd be making more money doing a couple of major productions a year and riding out the rest of their time on royalties. The amateur market would be decimated as many producers of amateur content simple don't have the infrastructure to manage a points system. There'd be massive accounting and legal costs to manage raising the bar to entry to nearly the level of mainstream film. That would mean they'd employ fewer actors/actresses and the steady stream of new talent porn has enjoyed through out its lifespan would slow way down as they manage their now much-complicated roster of current actors.

That's would be state of porn were points mandatory for hiring talent.

Even as just an option points would greatly sway the market in favor of the large porn studios like Vivid who could afford to implement points. It'd be unhealthy for the porn industry ecosystem and bad for consumers as the big porn companies tend to produce watered down mainstream crap starring douche-faced dinosaurs like Randy Spears unenthusiastically boning bottle-blond plastic surgery victims. The small porn companies and amateur producers are the ones on the cutting edge, producing the niche and fetish content that is the real backbone of the industry. Supporting points for their talent would just be really bad business for them. Instead of hiring that new hot chick, they're instead sending a royalty check to an actress that hasn't had to work in 6 months. I'll take the current system thanks :)

I don't think if there will be less file-lockers you will see more seeds.

Hit and Run is a problem of torrents, another problem is the connectivity, somebody can happily downloading the files but not sharing anything because something's wrong with their network and in other cases,
their upload is configured to 1.

Emule is dying (but it's still strong) it's because it takes a lot of time for downloading,
especially big files. If its sharing rules will be different it'd probably have more users.

I happen to be one of those so called Christians that you hate so much, and I must remind you that not all of us or even a quarter of us are child molesting gay-killing bastards. I respect your right to do what I see as immoral as long as It doesn't come to my doorstep. I won't force my beliefs down your throat, but I expect you to respect mine in the same way. If you consider atheism the only way to have a rational society, then that show great intolerance. I don't even mention my beliefs until someone decides to say things like this and step on them. Not all Muslims are jihadists, not all Christians go to Westboro Baptist, so please let me believe that not all atheists are judgemental fools.
