Take your pick from these, they are all better then TPB, less fakes, faster trackers. Some like h33t are even moderated (each upload is tested for virii’s by mods until the uploader becomes trusted).

TPB is over but we are right here and right now it is our time to show who is better, who will never give up. Probably almost all of us are ready to seed/reseed or upload new files, all we need is new site and trackers and i’m sure that we will get one really soon so for now we should stick together with all other release communities and build our new flagship. Another will come and I cannot hardly wait. If they do make another one they better hide it from the law, block IP addresses. Everyone save the pirate bay! Copyright owners are bitching about their material is being distributed illegally but they did it to themselves. They sell the products too expensive that people cannot afford it so people pirate it. I admit I pirate over 20 movies and good DVD rip quality, and software like MS office 2007. These damn industries want you to buy the damn movie, song or software but they sell so damn high. So lower the god damn prices fools!

I’m gonna miss the pirate bay so much! I had a feeling it was gonna go someday. When another opens up I’m gonna hop to it.

It is a sad day for P2P. If TPB does go down we will mourn the loss of a great tracker for many months. But then someone will have to pick up the slack. I hope another great site can step up. I support the guys from TPB and all they have accomplished. But we have seen this all before, anyone else remember the Morpheus sellout? Or how about KaZaA? Napster? We will survive and keep P2P alive forever. The only thing uncertian is which tracker will become the new “largest”.

As most of you now know the goverment have bought into Piratebay to most like cut down on illegal torrents,

if you are a follower of the piratebay then you would have notice some great pirates who upload really really good stuff have been remove of piratebay,

too be very honest i wouldnt go near or use piratebay anymore,

its all about money now,
soon there will release the youtube killer,
which i hope flops,

which you are a supporter of pirate bay,
then you know for yourself the piratebay has swaped hands and isnt the piratebay anymore,
any legal activities in the future or downloads there will pass on to your goverment…

I don’t know about anyone else, but i am not interested in making money from file sharing. I just want to be able to download and share my favourite TV shows and movies as soon as they are available.

This Hans Pandeya character, may very well have misjudged what the file sharing community is all about.

For me, at the moment though, it is business as usual. I will wait and see how this whole things turns out, before i decide what to do, and where to go next.

I love the fact everyone worshipped piratebay and fell for all the hype and crap that peter sunde said, and now look where hes left you.

he has the cash to pay off his fine from court and he will disappear into obscurity, much like a true criminal.

TPB was never some movement or fight, it was a group of people who realised they got too much publicity and they want to get out.

In Sweden there’s an ongoing political “showdown” at Almedalen, and yesterday they broadcasted some really interesting talks about copyright. Owner of GFF was there too on the panel, and gave the viewers a bit more “depth” what his plans are for TPB.

These talks were in swedish, no subs.

Frankly, it sounds like Tower Records except it has a more complicated way of getting its content. I believe Napster was the best in the early days. Once it changed, it morphed into a similar file sharer. I like its business model. I wish him well. If he believes in his strategy, he needs to start fast. But then again, I have 6TB of music-all tagged and categorized. It doesn’t affect me. My feeling is, people who have used Pirate Bay will have no problem selling their content and going elsewhere If content comes in fast enough and it’s easy to access, people will use it.

It’s not hard to set up a website like Pirate Bay or mobilize our intelligent youth who have no money to find the sweet spot.
