There must be something fishy about this whole trial being done in secret. The only party that gains from keeping it a secret it the MAFIAA. For filesharing there are no benefits of not knowing the results. Because of that this is already a bias trial from the start.

The fact that this isn’t the 1st uploader would be one good reason. If it would have been public then someone (like TF) might have told the ISP lawyer that this can’t be the first uploader before any appeals.

Usually people don’t need mathematicians for calculating numbers below 100. However it is possible that judges are another breed who are unable to count beyond their fingers and need an expert witness for this.
