Wow! Knowing this, I would never buy another digital video from Amazon. I honestly thought it would be like buying a DVD, that I could stream it whenever I wanted to. Why should I pay for something when the copyright owner can revoke access at any time, and apparently for any reason? I would feel completely justified going to a torrent site to recover my rights to watch the movie that I legally, in good faith, bought and paid for. I understand that copyright owners want a certain amount of control over their product, but if they want this much control, then they should not be allowed to sell the product. They could say "rental only" instead. Of course, they would have to charge less as well...

Amazon puts Hand Held computers for $10 [british pounds - 2 lazy to change sign]

Nope so many systems at work, no mistakes ever happen. Why don't you wake up eh?

Licensing deals take months to negotiate. Companies cannot pull a license without breaking a contract. Nor can amazon put things it doesn't license.

Licensing deals are valid for years, not days. Hence a complicated negotiation to undergo. Not something that is done over the phone in a day.

So how do you know that they didn't make some calls to get the licensing agreements reversed?

A company as huge as amazon would be able to establish such direct connections and get procedures like "licensing" done MUCH MUCH faster than any small company that would have to go through hoop after hoop.

Even if they didn't go this way, they are so huge, I'm sure if they made a change for the better, the other parties would understand.

As somebody already said somewhere in these comments, Due to the way these big sites are configured, a "true" accident like this is so so rare, Due to the way the site works, One part functions on another part and so on, For this to happens means it fitted all of these criteria, Which is BULLSHIT, and on top of that, Guess what, Only the Christmas films was accidentally effected by this "weird occurring accidental error" which just so happened to be in the December period right before Christmas.

HELLO, PLEASE WAKE UP, YOU ARE LIVING IN A DREAM WORLD, IT WAS NOT AN ACCIDENT, STOP LOOKING FOR WAYS TO JUSTIFY IT.

They can't restore the video without licensing agreements or they can be sued by the owner of those licenses.

Another words it can't be intentional.

DOGS, This just shows you its better to copyright, at least when you do it this way they don't take it back.

At every possible chance, do not buy even physical items from amazon, use smaller independent retailers, Fuck these globalist companies.
