I don’t think I am glossing over it. Price is something you have an issue with, not me and “your issue” over the cost of services and what you yourself want to pay is irrelevant.

Keep up, that was services where you could purchase files. And that figure still stands.

You are glossing over the point of the price and I am not going to keep repeating myself ($10 is roughly what I pay for Netflix UK anyway so you agree with me on price).

Anyway none of the streaming services offer anything near to 30k titles. Netflix at the current count is around 3k. However the count is meaningless as I probably won’t watch half of the stuff on there (quality vs quantity, another thing Holywood doesn’t understand).

You are reversing cause and effect and then trying to insult potential customers. No wonder you and your cronies have a hard time making money on the internet, its a wonder you make any money at all with that attitude.

I’m not glossing over price, there’s nothing to gloss over. For the thousands of releases that most streaming services offer (some 30k plus) I think circa $10 a month is great. Some of the services are a tad more, some less but, it’s not like you have to subscribe to every streaming service on the market.

There are more of these services becoming available all the time and as far as the western world should be concerned at least, there should be very little in the way of unmet demand.

Unmet for those who don’t agree with the price maybe but maybe services will just have to put up with the moans of neckbeards who would pirate even if their services cost 1 cent.

HAHAHAHA what planet does this delusional soul live on? I’ll tell you what lets me watch what I want, where I want, and when I want it, and it doesn’t come from the MPAA, that’s for sure….. we’re sick of junk like ultraviolet, expiring “digital copy” codes, useless DRM, etc.

You are glossing past the point of my comments about price. I am stating what I believe is a fair market price for the service and it would appear that all the filesharers like myself that have converted to using the likes of netflix also agree (I know several people who have switched from bit torrent to netflix).

It underlines the simple point that many have pointed out to you in the past that there is unmet demand for these kinds of services that you are not fulfilling and this has caused the symptom of the problem that is file sharing. Fix the cause and you will get rid of the symptom.

99p to watch a stream of a film is also far out of whack. I can watch unlimited films/shows on netflix/lovefilm for £6 a month, and believe me I watch more that 6 films/shows a month on my Netflix account.

You’re 5th is not available to the UK (its Spanish). Try again.

The other services look really cheap to Me. From 4.99 a month or 99p a film. Cheap as chips for tons of legally distributed entertainment.

Anyway what’s the 5th? There is Netflix (reasonably priced), Lovefilm (reasonably priced), Blinkbox (Extortionate), NowTV (extortionate).
