wonder about who is uploading what and why. Its very telling that on the
biggest Russian torrent site, Rutracker, that its Americans uploading
US basketball matches (the sport is huge in Russia). Would you say that
these Americans who do that are anti-american or maybe its a covert US
operation to destroy Russia. Its very easy to look too deep into the
motives of file sharers assigning extreme political motives when its
just a case of a bunch of US basketball fans providing access to games
that were broadcast on US TV to Russian basketball fans. Hardly Game of
Thrones behavior. Gazprom cutting off the gas supply to the Ukraine is a
Game of Thrones action. Putin should reinstate the gas supply just
because common sense points to a Ukraine that will divide but it doesn’t
need to resemble the mess we are seeing unfold in Iraq at the moment.
