TorrentFreak

The place where breaking news, BitTorrent and copyright collide

And the winner is: Torrentspy

Based on Alexa’s traffic ratings torrentspy.com is the most popular torrent site of 2005. Torrentspy caught up with isohunt.com and torrentreactor.net around April.

They kept their first place during the rest of 2005. The Piratebay’s traffic equalled torrentspy’s after their great redesign at the end of May. The Piratebay finished second this year.

These 5 sites all grew in popularity over the past year. However, torrentreactor seems to be the loser and dropped from the 1st to the 5th place.
