Hell i could get 30,000 links on rapidshare deleted.
A simple email with “Copyright Infringment” as the subject
and any rapidshare links,is suffice enough for them to delte the links(go try it go to any warez index and grab a bunch of links(or upload your own text files and report them) and watch them all die.)

FPM masy CLAIM they have forced Mininova to remove 20,000 torrents, but it is just that, a claim.

Searching through torrents in the music category on there (mostly rock), I found quite a few that were still there.

So FPM is lying through their teeth. 20,000 is seriously inflated when the actual number is probably only about 200.

Mininova would be fucking well aware of it if FPM had ordered them to remove 20,000 torrents.

So it’s painfully obvious that FPM are lying.

This puts the other 10,000 infringing items “removed” into severe doubt as well.

As to why they’d lie, they need to make it look like they’re waging an effective battle against filesharing so that the MAFIAA and/or clueless studios and labels will continue to fund them. If that seems familiar, it’s because Media-Defender used to(before the entire company imploded) and Web Sheriff continues to pull the same shit.
