The problem is that the only way to install apps on the iPhone or iPad is through the appstore. So they decide what you should install or run in your (or should i say their?) phones.

Simple solution, forget Apple, get Android, plenty of options there that allow you to control a number of webAdmin torrent tools. I love having my android phone tied to my uTorrent web admin controls, makes life easy.

Forgot about that one but it was some time ago. It was a competition and as usual, one would need to know the details (wasn’t it that they already knew what to do before starting).

It was just one of the “for” Apple arguments and maybe Apple did get lazy as Microsoft needed to close security holes on a daily basis. It doesn’t change the fact that Apple is difficult to follow in who/what they want to be.

Ubuntu ?, except for an external issue, it also still doesn’t work properly (like screen resolution).

(“safer” is on purpose as no OS can be called “safe”)

I hate Apple products but why in the world would Apple be forced to accept a Bittorrent app in their appstore? Its their appstore and they can do put whatever they like there.
