Glib is another consumer type. He’s dutifully spent his money on all the latest home theater tech and probably has better sound and picture then even the most premium theater house.

All under his own roof.

Offer him a value for his money and he’ll probably buy the content. Until then, I’m sure his cable modem is ‘quite busy’.

Good on you Mate. Just remember, storage is cheap, don’t let your disks get over 50% full if you can help it. ;-)

You can avoid ATM fees by using your card at a grocery/drug/convenience store that gives cash back. Usually safer too. Buy a pack of gum or soda and tack on another $60. Fresh breath or refreshment and your cash. Win-Win

The fact remains that I torrent shows that I can’t access in other digital forms. I used to torrent all my games, until I found out about steam sales. Its a reasonable price, and its a hell of a lot more convenient, so of course I buy it for $5-$20 and support the developers. I can’t speak for all pirates, but I wouldn’t pirate shows if they were easier to access legally.
