The NBN is a complete fuck up. Our town was scheduled to get FTTH this year and after last years elections our town has been wiped off the map. What frustrates me even more, is the monopoly Telstra has down here. TPG advertises their ADSL2+ ulimited service which sounds great but upon putting in your details they say its not available. Internode offers ADSL2+ with plans up to 1.2TB however upon putting in details it turns out a max of 300GB is available here. We're on the 500GB telstra ADSL2+ bundle and its $140/month but we hardly use the phone and its going to waste. After seaching for another provider it seems to be impossible to find an ADSL2+ plan that will cover the town where we live, with data more than 500GB.

If the fuckwits at the Liberal party didn't fuck the NBN from 100megabits to 25 I'm sure there would be so much more competition encouraged. However, they've screwed it and now there is little to no hope for a decent internet service in Australia. It's complete shit.

Uh. I'm not talking about music, I'm talking about TV shows and movies.

Music and albums are available pretty much world wide from day one. There are tonns of services you can use to get music as soon as it comes out.

I personally prefer buying the CD, digital copies of music are just compressed trash. If they offered FLAC format sure, but nothing beats uncompressed music on a physical CD.

TV shows and movies, there is no such distribution scheme available in Australia and other places of the world.
