The BitTorrent Legend Returns: I Am aXXo

It now seems that he is back in business. A few hours ago aXXo uploaded his first movie in months. He chose “I Am Legend”.
Since November 11 2007, when the last official aXXo torrent was uploaded, it has been awfully quiet. Some people assumed that aXXo had got himself caught while others claimed he had an accident. After a while it became clear that he simply decided to take some time off.
An administrator on Darkside RG, the official home of aXXo explained at the time: “aXXo told us that he has decided to take a break, so you will not see new aXXo torrents anywhere for a while. Please show your support by keeping his torrents alive until he comes back, as always, he will post here first when he does.”
Now, after nearly four months of absence aXXo has returned, and uploaded his first .torrent on Darkside RG and other torrent sites. It’s the news that many BitTorrent users have been waiting for.
Marking his comeback with the movie “I Am Legend” could be seen as symbolic. Before aXXo decided to take a break, an estimated one million people downloaded his DVDrips every month. The search term aXXo was undoubtedly the most popular at many torrent sites. Although there are conflicting opinions in respect of the quality of his work, there can be no dispute that he was, and still is, very popular indeed.
While some see him in an almost religious light, others have been quick to take advantage of his popularity for nefarious purposes, or have used the aXXo brand to draw attention to their own releases, like KLAXXON did.
Even though some see him as a legend, aXXo certainly isn’t without his critics but whatever the position, his popularity is indisputable…..along with his modesty ;)

People please convert & upload dvdrips in RMVB format. Its much much smaller sized compared to dvdrips(avi files).
I’ve heard so much about it but where do you sign up to get SCENE releases ? Is it like Pirate Bay?

If you hate something and every opportunity you get you ramble about it you are giving away free publicity. aXXo doesn’t have to have
great quality anymore(assuming some one thinks he might’ve been good at some point) because all he needs to do is put “aXXo” on the rip and
the comment box is endless which makes more ppl aware that he exist.
and there’s enough good comments to hook new ppl because the loyals will defend him against anything you say. Bottom line; the more you waste your
comments on aXXo the more he gets popular.

Attention Internet Movie Downloaders!
I do not unserstand what difference it makes who encodes or rencodes the movies. I know I have not had to leave my home to rent or buy a DVD in quite some time.
I think that anyone willing to put their time into making my life easier than by all means go ahead.
Do not worry about whether or not Axxo or Scene or Jesus puts these up on the internet just be greatful.
Thank you rippers and people who make my life more entertaining.
Unfortunately since he left I started using private trackers, which are much faster and block leechers who hit and run.
Still Im sure Ill download a few of axxos rips cause they dont get rar’ed

One the one hand, we have the sceners
who cannot stand aXXo and what he
represents, and think they’re so 1337.
Then we have the aXXo supporters who
think his movies are the greatest
thing there is on Torrent sites.
And with both sides flaming one
another, into the fray come the MPAA
trolls calling filesharing stealing.
Anyone remember TMD ( the movie depot ) who used to infest Kazaa with shit extra small re-encodes? Well, Axxo is the same kind of thing but as its BT you know what you are going to get so there is nothing to complain about. As an aside, TMD are still, unbelievably in existance… just shows that there are always folk willing to and eager to eat shit. Just ask Mc Donalds..

Even old people that’re largely unfamiliar with the internet knows that stuff labelled aXXo on TPB and alike is reliable. Beat that.
this is me…
i started with LW then tried a few others ending with bs.found torrents unreliable for quality heard about az bit torrent.tried it found more unreliable files.found a few uploaders
that suit me,like for games that do not need installing look up Dopeman
on TPB .play from folder .great
theres also StoneCold420 wwe /ecw/
raw etc etc.hd too 3 up a week.TPB
and AXXO films i can watch and trust..bottom line find good uploaders and thank them while we enjoy their work for free,thank you

The reason why people like aXXo is because he makes 1 file releases no need to unpack anything. People hate to download something and then unpack it. If they happen to download a movie that’s in 100 .rar files, they unpack it and delete the .rar files. This is the reason why the scene releases never have seeds. People don’t want to keep 2x same movie on their HDD. I know, BSPlayer (even the free one) can play .rar files and that’s what I do, I also download only scene releases, but I’m just saying why aXXo is liked. I don’t download his stuff because he re-encodes the scene releases to worse quality. If you can download a scene release rather than aXXo release, download it! It’s better quality and you can play it with BSPlayer.

aXXo is back, Great new? Not really! Everyone can live with or without aXXo torrents. There are a lots of groups/peoples who already do a better job ripping tv shows and movies than aXXo. aXXo is only popular by his name. That’s All!
