The BitTorrent Legend Returns: I Am aXXo

It now seems that he is back in business. A few hours ago aXXo uploaded his first movie in months. He chose “I Am Legend”.
Since November 11 2007, when the last official aXXo torrent was uploaded, it has been awfully quiet. Some people assumed that aXXo had got himself caught while others claimed he had an accident. After a while it became clear that he simply decided to take some time off.
An administrator on Darkside RG, the official home of aXXo explained at the time: “aXXo told us that he has decided to take a break, so you will not see new aXXo torrents anywhere for a while. Please show your support by keeping his torrents alive until he comes back, as always, he will post here first when he does.”
Now, after nearly four months of absence aXXo has returned, and uploaded his first .torrent on Darkside RG and other torrent sites. It’s the news that many BitTorrent users have been waiting for.
Marking his comeback with the movie “I Am Legend” could be seen as symbolic. Before aXXo decided to take a break, an estimated one million people downloaded his DVDrips every month. The search term aXXo was undoubtedly the most popular at many torrent sites. Although there are conflicting opinions in respect of the quality of his work, there can be no dispute that he was, and still is, very popular indeed.
While some see him in an almost religious light, others have been quick to take advantage of his popularity for nefarious purposes, or have used the aXXo brand to draw attention to their own releases, like KLAXXON did.
Even though some see him as a legend, aXXo certainly isn’t without his critics but whatever the position, his popularity is indisputable…..along with his modesty ;)

Simply put, THE SCENE steals COPYRIGHTED releases and sticks their name on them. simple as that. How would you like it if you wrote a book and then somebody else stole it, put their name on it and stuck it ON THE INTERNET FOR FREE! THE SCENE has always compromised the INCOME of MOVIE MAKERS, and now we have some cocky INTERNET HAXORS stealing MOVIES! fucking wannabe HACKERS, make your own MOVIES.
If any one in the scene actually thinks the way this guy thinks then they seriously need to reconsider what they’re doing. You’re mad because someone else something that you’ve already stolen!? Please…

That’s hilarious to see wanna be sceners (you know most of the scene supporters here aren’t doing jack sh!t to begin with, but barely punk around) blame this axxo dude for coming out of hiding.
I’m not 1337 enough to be a scener, I don’t get off by the thought of it either, I’m just happy going to my fav. bit torrent site on the week-ends to download a few movies - I know aXXo’s releases are solid, and won’t require me to wait hours on end to download. For the better movies, I’ll download them when I have the time (720p), for others, aXXo does just fine.

aXXo = standard quality, there are always good seeders, you know what to expect doesn’t waste as much bandwidth and is enough quality (except for those that maybe think MONSTER cables help them listen to music)

and all of you disagree with the MPAA ? shut up you hypocrites yes he may just re encode scene rips for the public but isn’t that the whole purpose of bit torrent ? a good quality product with easy accessibility just think you download a DIAMOND rip of say 1.4gb for good quality then a aXXo rip same quality and 700mb sorry we cant all afford 500million zeta bytes of storage to store all your scene rips and a 300 inch tv that you can see 3 miles away he does good rips for the average person your all acting like babies .. more to the point there are already many movies out in 2008 lets see something good come from aXXo as always
