I can only comment that he is the god of DvD-torrent. His rips are one of the fastest downloads on my Vuze. Always has the perfect quality i trust him to provide me with and also don’t forget that there is nothing more reassuring then the approvement of OZperson (is he famous too?) ,the reason i download axxo torrents almost blindly.
To be the best in whatever you do in this world,you must have a source of information which a small group only have acces to (the sceners). Then you must have the expertise to release this valuable information to the large unknowing public (we the torrent dowloaders). If everybody in the scene can do a lot better and think that Axxo is giving them a bad name, then they must do something about it,but do not forget that “we the torrent downloaders” do not care about the source, we do not care about how much effort you do, we do not care if it is re-encode or whatever name you use to rip a dvd, We do not care if Axxo is known as arrogant…….

Why praise him for his 700mb releases? A lot of scene releases are 700mb. If they’re bigger, there is a reason: quality! There’s only so much quality you can fit on one cd, and axxo just rips the quality right out of the xvid or re-encodes to a file just as big with inferior quality. (I bet most of the axxo fans have never even compared the different releases.)

A lot of axxo fans write that they don’t care who releases the movie, they just want “fine quality movies”, but that’s the whole point: axxo’s movies are often quite crappy. The whole point of us “scene lovers” is to show others that, but some seem to be too caught up in their little axxo world. (Do you also download 128kbps mp3s and think it’s good quality..?)

For the people complaining they don’t have access to scene material: use torrentz.com or isohunt.com and you’ll find loads of quality (scene) rips.

Axxo isn’t a turd for re-encoding the scene rips (though it is quite lame), he is because he downgrades quality and then spreads it, while he -as I said before- could also just share the scene rips he downloaded in the first place. Even if he does not download scene rips, but scene DVDRs, he still has a lot to learn about encoding and quality.

i remember grabbing a “rip” he did of the descent, i previewed it, it was shit quality. i downloaded the scene release (i believe it was done that did the rip) with the SAME size (700mb) and it looked ALOT better than axxo’s release.

and if he is infact reencoding releases, compressing compressed video = bad.

He uploads very manageable files, the sizes are suitable and the quality isn’t lost. I watch his rips on a 40 Inch screen and it’s no different to a proper DVD.

His rips are up for a lot lot longer than anyone elses.

Whether he copies others work or not, we don’t care, cause at the end of the day they’re all stealing and so are we. So stealing from scene or whoever those dudes are is all the same.

Gladly axxo is back, we can return to getting 700mb rips to our pc within the hour due to the thousands of seeders.
