I loved the first seasons, but after waiting two years, this last episode was probably one of the worst BBC stuff I've ever seen.

Rather than think what that Corporation has to offer/ or not to offer, give thinking of the bigger picture a go. For example, would you not agree that it is rather despicable that a citizen of a free democratic country has to obtain a license to be lawfully allowed to possess a item that has the ability to receive live broadcasts? [Actually, I say 'live', but since going digital is anything truly 'live'?]

It's still not good enough. For example, they are also broadcasting it in some south Asian countries but on SD channels whereas on the torrent sites, you can get a good 720p or 1080p HD copy with 5.1 surround sound. It amazes me that these companies still haven't figured out that all they have to do is offer what the torrent sites do. I'd gladly pay for a equivalent of what I can find on a torrent site even though I do pay for my cable subscription and a few additional special channels too but the ease of a torrent is still always better.

I have been under investigation by TV licencing for the last 10 years according to all the lovely letters they send lol.

They did take a couple of people to court who removed the implied right of access, probably in an attempt to stop the trend continuing.

They get 3.6 BILLION a year just from the licence fee, which is a ridiculous amount which they don't need. UK licence fee payers have been paying way too much. Look how much they wasted on radio and tv services for other countries, using UK licence fee money. They sent silly amount of BBC news staff to Mandela's funeral and always have to send someone to stand outside a building somewhere for a news story, even though it's mostly pointless.

So much wrong with the whole system. They won't get a penny from me.

Just remember tv licence inspectors can say they will question you under caution etc but if you just shut the door on their face. politely or impolitely, there is nothing they can do. You are under no legal obligation to talk to them at all.
