This is what I love to see. The embracing of BT.
What should be done is indie filmmakers should get together and use a centralized site to submit their films for download. This may exist but I never heard of it before. And if it hasn’t been done yet someone should jump on it. Hell, if I had more programming skills I would make this myself.

Wow… more independent film makers should stand up and tell the movie industry that piracy might actually be their solution to competing with the mainstream.

I agree with that, piracy can help indie movies and indie music.

“Keep Independant Filmmakers working long hours for no pay” - I think most people who watched this missed the sarcasm, try reading the text too…

Regardless of if he’s being sarcastic or not I hardly think anybody would want to “pirate” those 3, 5 minutes “films” on his website.

Video 1. He asks his dad questions about being ill
Video 2. He films a single song at a music concert
Video 3. He films off the front of a moving bike.

Wow… how boring. Anyone could film all 3 of those in under an hour, is that what you have to do to call yourself a “Film director” these days?

@markus:
yeah, but I think that it’s more the concept rather than the individual film. Like Jamendo.com: a repository for indie music artists to perpetuate their music.
@bardicknowledge
yeah, totally.

If that was meant to be a sarcastic plea against piracy, it was way too indirect. It seems much more likely that they want to get their films seen so they can be recognized for their work and go on to higher paying gigs.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that was supposed to be sarcastic

This is a joke right? Is this guy really a director? Sooo deadpan! I’m probably posting in the wrong place but piracy should not be encouraged! Even if you do it, you have to accept that stealing is wrong! How could you not?

As an English person who understands basic sarcasm, trust me, it’s sarcastic.

Everyone talk about pirates… Pirates is not good. Or pirates is bad. Or.. or.. or..

Lets see…….

If I make my products and protect it under copyright holder…. mmm… to expensive!!!

If I make my products and give it away to everyone….mmm…. cheapest but probably I will not get income!!! But I become more popular!!! And although I’m poor man but I can proud to myself because I can help other people who have no business to try make startup and find some money to feed his/her family… and so on….

But how about myself???!!! Mmmm… I believe that people who like my product are not bad. I believe if I inform to them that I need money to make living, they will help me by make donating to me… I believe God doesn’t close HIS eyes from me…. I believe that if I help other people, other will help me… and if not… I will not stop to create my work but I will try to find another way by offline distribute to find some money for me and my family. And I believe that they will buy from me, because right now I am so popular on Internet, and when they browsing or get my full release… and they happy when using it freely,… they who live near at my place or shop will help me by buy my product directly from me because that way is more cheaper than they must download my biggo free files through internet…

Well…. I think I can live with this role.

And for final action… I will take other file freely without care anymore to fuckin’ copyright nor left nor CC license nor fuckin’ as’ol other license and start selling those and get my money. And if I have some extra money after selling those,… than I will donate the creator as my responsibility to GOD and care about their condition -if they open donation page- and if not… then…. “Why I Should Fuckin’ Care About It!!!!”. Ha-ha-ha~~~ ‘cos all money will be mine…. and I become a hero, a pirate…. ha-ha-ha~~~ ha-ha-ha-~~~ he-he-hA-HA-HA-Ha-ha-ha~~~ Dude,… leave your ego and greedy far away from you and let others enjoy it freely. And please consider this… What would happen when GOD come to earth again and put copyright to everything.. including your body, breath, cloths, etc… until earth and all galaxies????? Ha-ha-ha~~~ copyright/left/CC License is SUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
