I was lucky ten years ago while working for CBS/SONY as I could buy Cd’s etc for a very low price. When I left, my only option was to purchase from the usual retail outlets. €40.00 for a CD! The artist gets only a few cents per copy! The rest to the shareholders. If you download files for your personal use only, then you should have no worries. If however, you are making copies of files and selling them without having the copyright, you can be in serious shit if caught! If I buy a movie and put it on the net in order to send it to a friend it’s not OK, but if I lend/give it to the person, then that’s OK. Until the powers to be make some sensible new legislation regarding the internet we will keep file sharing!

Imagine some unlucky sod being stuck in prison for 4 years for having downloaded/uploaded copyrighted files and having to share a cell with some psychopath doing only 3 years for manslaughter!

Let’s in the meantime hope that the authorities don’t screw the filesharingnet up!!!

I can not believe a hosting provider is doing this. BREIN will sue Dutchnova and not the provider.

If there are copyright infringements, sure there’s no case to stand up against it in court. BREIN is saying downloading is illegal which is not the case. But they keep on doing that. BREIN is evil as we all know.
