.WMV can be a DVDrip though. I dont know why all .wmv files would be considered fake. Not that I would ever download one, as I prefer .avi or .mkv, its still possible to have a .wmv DVDrip, so I dont know why they would ALL be considered fake.

Anybody that believes there is a DVD rip of a movie that hasn't been in the theaters yet anywhere, seriously lacks common sense.
FakeSkan sounds nice, but the official description should read:
"FakeSkan: for n00bs who lack common sense and believe everything they read."
All it takes is some common sense and reading comments on torrents. You can't just go and download anything just because you want it without taking a huge risk of getting a virus or other malicious software.
For movies I only download them in the .avi file extension. I've downloaded a few files in the past that said i needed to download and install some sort of player (like 3domplayer and others). Each time this happened the file format was in .wmv.
I try to download only from torrent sites that have comments on the torrent I want. If the comments are mostly positive I download it, if mostly negative (usually about quality) I wait until a better copy is available. Also reading comments you can find out if a file is fake or not, warning you ahead of time.
These are just my personal guidelines.
