It's not that simple? Doesn't help you in pointing you to the default download directory? Seriously? If you need help finding out where you put the bloody stuff you downloaded, how the hell did you get so far as to start using torrents in the first place?

And "not intuitive" to right click on something to find out the download location? Again, seriously? Rightclicking on something should ALWAYS be the choice of action, unless you're just double-clicking it to start/run the file. If you're too stupid to understand that... jeez. And, yeah - if you ARE too stupid to understand that, just doubleclick the file and run it that way? It will start whatever program is set as default action for that filetype. How can this be any simpler? Again, if you have trouble understanding where it put stuff you download, not to mention being unable to understand that rightclicking is actually gonna show you a context-menu, then you probably don't need to know where the file ends up to begin with.

cheerio pip pip *fart*

Some of you don't fucking get that in reality it's not just that simple, you've just been using it so long and everything is set JUST SO that it's practically invisible to you. uTorrent doesn't help in pointing you to the default download location at all, so if someone were to just "open and download" they'd have no goddamn idea where it went. And it's not intuitive to open the right-click menu and do show location, no matter how easy it may be.

Can't agree with you. There is win32 libtorrent based client Halite - very fast, light on resources and not complicated, looks like a uTorrent , but the last time i checked neither halite nor rtorrent could use multiple trackers and that was the only reason I ( and probably many others ) wouldn't use it.

Also I'm not so sure that most of Torrent users are lazy slobs using uTorrent because they don't care to try other clients, being too busy shoving chicken wings in their mouth while D/L porn. I think most of Torrent users are somewhat technically oriented, and wouldn't have problem configuring any client.

One more note regarding rTorrent, you said it is not used because it is hard to use/configure. rTorrent was the easiest client to configure I have ever seen 'vim rtorrent.rc' so i'm not sure what are you talking about here...

And to all the people complaining about RAM usage... it is 2011 not 1991, if you have 512 Mb of RAM, and complain that software ( Vuze, Firefox etc...) uses too much ram then it is definitely time to upgrade.
