If you don’t want the extras dont install/use them.. I don’t. As a base client it’s only a slight resource hog if you’re running several torrents at once.. and most machines are supposed to have 8gb of ram these days, plenty for the 300 or so mb this app uses at it’s most bloating points. So, buy some ram or a flash drive for readyboost.. this wll balance you out on the 4gb system.

150Mb memory with 166 torrents seeding, 6 downloading. That is with all the default stuff enabled, which some of the things people complained about can be disabled (Not going to use local RSS feed? Disable it then).

Download focus (pause everything but selected torrent until it is finished downloading) and auto category (automatically assign category based on name, tracker, etc.) alone are worth using it for me.

I haven’t used it in a while, but the RSS feed features are nice as long as you have a tracker than is good about removing bad content and not counting that download against you if ratio matters.
