Here in Brazil we have internet with low velocity (the biggest part of people have 2 mb of internet) because is very expensive...... but here really the best option for download is p2p because exists more files sharing in brazilian standard like the language. I believe in a near future the gov create new rules here for punishment of the people who download this things.... is really sad leave the government control us....

I DID A YEAR FOR FISHING WITHOUT A LICENSE.

You want me to wait 2 months before watching something someone in America can now? STFU. Fine, Don't have my money :-)

[...] In conclusion, we can say that Sandvine reveals some intriguing statistics, with the overall conclusion that BitTorrent and P2P in general are still going strong. Although there are regional differences, BitTorrent is responsible for a significant share of total Internet traffic in all regions. That said, we have to keep in mind that Sandvine might benefit from overestimating the percentage of P2P traffic because they sell the traffic shaping applications.
How many people reading this know. . ?

How much data they transfer through normal browsing , per day ?

How much data from torrents ?

IF you measure your data... you will see that .
<blockquote>
P2P traffic at 11.0% during the first months of 2010. This is down from 22% in 2009, which indicates that P2P has lost half its share of the total Internet traffic there.
</blockquote>

Not true... Other traffic has GROWN in size. Dramaticly.. speeds have also increased.

WHY has browsing nearly doubled ? ?
Lot's of europe (like me) use ftp , sharing , megaupload ect... Increasing more now... after the warez scene scrapped rapid$it.
