Better solution. Don't use computers, guaranteed protection versus computer viruses.
If Linux was the operative system everyone used… There would be billions of viruses for Linux. Not to mention Mac, that is connected at all times to wireless networks, and IPods, Phones, etc… an excellent breedingground for viruses.

Thats why I use windows xp pro x64. virus’s just kinda wig out in it.(core files are 64bit and some are in different locations.)

that and a hardware firewall kinda helps. And not randomly clicking Pr0n links, that helps too.

Windows does suck, even though I do in fact use it. the trick is knowing how to go to your administartion folder and shut down any and all automatic updates, system restore programs and various other componants. those are some of the weakest links to windows. Also as was metioned above; go randomaly opening porn sites and unknown places all over the web and you will get a virus for sure. I had a bad one that I had to reformat and learn how to really make windows work for me. Just look and read. there are plenty of helpfull blogs to learn things that microsoft would rather you didn’t know.

Hah, this is really quite funny. I feel sorry for the innocent people that have had their files erased by this virus. My advice as always: Don’t use Windows.
