Copyright holders would find themselves actually earning respect if they listened to the customer but they do not appear to be interested in doing that.
If, they diverted funding into the things that people want instead of taking people to court for so-called illegal downloading, they would see a change. However this isn’t happening so the downloading will continue.

Also how much is actually being lost through people downloading ? can it really be that much if Breaking Bad and other shows have managed to win themselves an emmy or two ? am fairly sure that the emmys do not count torrent statistics in their criteria.
