Morals are also highly dependent on what the circumstances are as well as individuals. For example: you and me may well think that stealing is wrong but the starving homeless person will have a different moral viewpoint. Slavery is widespread and continues to this day in Africa – it's viewed as morally acceptable by some, perhaps due to lack of resources.

And also, what is "true" is a highly subjective topic as it is built on moral imperatives. In my own country, native people were viewed as animals. not humans, and hence were treated as such. The "truth" 60 years ago to the majority or peope is that blacks were not human's and had the same status as cattle, sheep and kangaroos.
