BitTorrent Inc president and co-founder, Ashwin Navin says that iTunes’ DRM is “a time bomb waiting to happen,” and that it will inspire people to pirate content. The irony is that his company is about to launch a video store that heavily implements Microsoft’s Windows DRM.

The Web 2.0 inspired BitTorrent search engine “Fenopy” just released a widget that allows you to search for torrents, or spy on the latest torrent submissions. The widget requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
The popular Ipod torrent site Podtropolis is back. Podtropolis was forced to close its doors in July 2006, because they were unable to pay the server bills. Podtropolis asked for donations several times, but it was not enough to keep the site in the air.
