Not necessarily. In Australia there are certain exemptions under which a “carrier” (which encompasses hosting providers) can qualify. Because the site isn’t telling the user what to download, and is unbiased to both Legal and Illegal content, then if the developer resided in Australia, he would not be infringing on Copyright laws.

Obviously this software is CREATED by the MPAA. Closed source torrenting? You’d have to be an idiot to use this (or have a rock-solid VPN).
