It was just implemented as a law in the Netherlands for example. It states that all data should be equal. So no paying extra for youtube or free online phone messages. It makes sure your internet doesnt become like your tv where there are channels you can’t see. Preventing the internet to die because of dead links because the sites are not in your package or country.
