What China hold is marketable securities. They can do whatever they wish-buy more or sell even all at once if they wish-without US consent. However, if that is a wise decision is unknown. A sudden increase in supply of this will drive the dollar value down like a rock (china holding also drop like a rock-essentially like China giving away its money since these holdings drop in value)
Since US dollars value drop China products will not look so cheap so people will start buying made in America again. Great price, great quality compare to used to be cheap Chinese products, that is really cheaply made.

IMO this is a massive own goal for the entertainment industry. As usual, all a law like this does is penalise the wrong people.

I am a movie fan who buys all of his movies lawfully. I rip movies so that I can stream them around my house.

Thank you to the US courts and the movie biz for treating me like a criminal.

While the loss of DVDFab will stop me from getting the most out of the stuff I’ve paid for and create bad feeling for the idiots responsible for bringing the company to bear, it certainly aint going to stop piracy.

Or better yet, just ignore piracy and write it off as a cost of business.

If you ask me america needs to wake up and start caping how much LAWYERS can be paid . The entertainment industry would save millions if they just stopped with the legal battles. But they probably just write it off to some law firm and it costs them nothing and the law firm takes all the recovered money….

not sure how it works but we need more laws against law makers.
