he got elected by the seat of his pants because if his opponents knew of his opinions they would have drowned out anything he put forward with negative advertising and comments. hopefully we don’t end up with a bullshit law like sopa in Australia. if you say you are a law abiding person you are full of shit everybody brakes the law often without even knowing it.

I watched the entire debate it was from around 10 am til around 11 at night.Something you don’t usually expect but yes Zoe Lofgren is awesome and spoke for the people she even mentioned at one point about who was paid off etc.

Quite an interesting video, in which a congresswoman (I think her name is Lofgren, or Lofdren, not very clear on the low-res video), reports on the extortion schemes run by the pornographic industry against alleged copyright infringements. I wonder how THAT debate went (although it’s pretty clear that the guy who was presiding tried to change the subject)

Save our games and innovative ways of generating lives off the internet..

I think the United States should tax all sales(national and international transactions) on the internet,it should be just a tiny tiny amount, like 1%, but the government at state and federal both could use the money, and I am suprised it hasn’t happened already. We need to close the defecit and get things on track.

It’s sad that they had to go with such a sensationalized title. The article is plenty interesting WITHOUT such buzz words, and all it does is damage the reputation of one of the few vocal opponents of SOPA/PIPA.

People reading the article will find something interesting. People looking at the title to smear opponents of the bill will find something false. “Polis can’t control his gaming addiction, is THIS the man you want protecting your families in Washington?”

So… y’know, good job Torrent Freak.
