nearly every private tracker i know allows for donations to bump up your ratio. big-fucking-deal. your not paying for movies/music/software people. get over yourselves…

jesus christ! im well aware of what im doing and use private trackers because of good speeds. yes that means people seeding files, I seed stuff I download because I simply dont want to pay when I can leave my connection open. i understand people dont want to do that so if they want a decent ratio they pay for it. the money goes to seedboxes at the private tracker.

Rachel Faith, the sysop/admin of Vortex Network, has resigned today after heavy repercussions due to an alleged Pay2Leech scandal and a global “BitTorrent Domination” mindset. Vortex staffers have been jumping ship even before her tended resignation/impeachment, and even What.cd – who supplied the Gazelle codebase and worked closely throughout the developmental stages – has now officially disassociated themselves from any connection to Vortex.

Meanwhile, a brand-new Mac tracker comprised of ex-Vortex staff is using the Gazelle codebase (with What.cd endorsement), making it only the fourth tracker to use What.cd’s much-applauded Gazelle.

Well I feel a bit sorry for her, but she seems to have thick skin so its pointless. I think she is slightly mad – she’s acting like a Rupert Murdoch yet has nothing behind all of this big corporate business talk crap. Good story though, interesting to find out about people like that – I wonder what she will be up to in 20 years?
