That was indeed one of the many points brought to the table as an argument against ACTA. Because if international law considered information to be the equivalent of hazardous chemicals, no one would realistically be able to bring electronic devices of any kind on a flight.

Okay, who's wearing the mask this time? I mean, which Anon am I responding to?

Last time I checked, you were using the term "uncompensated copy manufacturing" or a variation of it, last time I and Anon chatted.

I can engage in risk-free copy manufacturing and trading. It's easy, actually; use a darknet (TOR) to grab files, go to a friend's dinner party, and swap thumbdrives. Or bump phones.

I choose not to. It's my belief that every creator deserves due compensation - which is why I argue for a "Fair Downloading" scheme. You know, where the country runs a torrent tracker, collects a yearly tax, and divides proceeds by downloads.

Unlike this Anon, I choose not to wear a mask. I engage in discussion online, often. I'm preparing to schedule an "open house" chat on Liquid Democracy right now. I know many like the Pirate Party's stance on communications, privacy- digital things - but want to have a Conservative stance on crime or immigration.

Come 2015, I'll be running as a Pirate. More than that, I'll be running as the "anti-establishment" figure, not unlike the comedian who wound up heading a European state.
