Nejtillpirater is a well-known pro-copyright fanatic from Sweden. For the last three years he’s been attempting to troll the web blog of one of Sweden’s Pirate Party MEP’s, Christian Engström.

With little luck as all he’s amassed over there is a very embarrassing string of wordwalls which invariably end up with him contradicting something he’s said earlier and then denying it by redefining the dictionary definition of words.

He does indeed fit the textbook definition of a low-grade troll. So much so that I’ve been wondering for a while if he isn’t just a pirate sympathizer out to discredit the local Ifpi. He paints a very convincing picture of a seriously disturbed copyright fanatic or a staggeringly forgetful scatterbrain with highly variable opinion.

Indeed, in many ways I am grateful to him. I’ve converted quite a few fence-sitters to a pro-pirate stance simply by showing them how the “Ifpi” apparently thinks.

The judges basically fined Mr. Stone for the legal equivalent of a confidence scam. I wonder what your own definition of a “troll” is, as there seems to be only one criteria which would make you apply it – a pro-pirate opinion.
