And they should think themselves damned lucky it was only 45$/lookup rather than a finding of contempt of Court, because these Digiprotect asswipes and their bottom-feeding lawyers will undoubtedly know that lying in their original filing to the Court that all IP’s are located within the Court’s jurisdiction is NOT too clever. Specially now that judges know how easy it is to determine an IP’s general geo-location.

In comparison to the insane amounts of fines against a non-commercial filesharer, they’ve been treated EXTREMELY lightly.

But at least the Court is starting to send the right message. Let’s see where this goes.
