It’s kind of similar in Russia, official registration of “The Pirate Party” was rejected by the government back in 2011 with official reason “piracy means sea robbery and it can’t be used as a party name because it’s a crime”.

How does that possibly mean it’s moral or ok to do? Murder has been around since the beginning of mankind too. Does that mean murder is normal and good?

Look up the naturalistic fallacy. It’s a logical fallacy people use that says that just because something occurs naturally, it is a good thing. It’s been used to defend everything from gender oppression, to slavery, to now pedosexuality.

Research shows vastly increased psychological risk factors to children under the age of 14-16 who have sex with someone vastly older than them that is unaffected by social conditions or norms. Homosexuality shows minimal psychological risks, and those are severely reduced when examined in areas with tolerant social norms.

Pedosexuality has been derided in western culture since the enlightenment, and for much longer in other countries. The media has increased focus on it, true, but it hasn’t been “normal” for centuries, no matter what your personal preferences would lead you to want to believe is true.
