Valve and GOG, you mean. While Valve offers discounts, GOG makes the classics available without Damned Restrictions Mechanisms. Both of which can be seen as a way to treat your customers with respect. Add in that Valve doesn’t charge an extra fee for online multiplayer, and you see they aren’t that bad. Truth is, I’m considering getting a Steam Machine because Steam doesn’t take their customer for granted and out of spite for Sony and Microsoft. If it becomes possible to get it play PS4 games from blu-ray discs, I might pick up a few preowned ones as a big middle finger to Sony.

Damn! Germany is sounding pretty good right about now!

As a Son of America (born in the Height in ’68) I am not only loathe to Leave “America” (despite being a Liberal [a real one not a fake 'liberal brand' faux left/censorship loving/political correct clown] I am a Patriot) and also well..Invested here…but lately..well..America IS…not “might Be”..not “is sort of..”……IS…..about 2/3′s through the “Transition Phase” from “Democratic Republic” to “Corporate Fascist Surveillance/Security/Police State Nightmare”.

I’ve found myself seriously..”Fer reals”..contemplating the various realities of becoming an “Ex-pat”.

Its actually an amazingly Sad and Depressing process frankly.

It really is.

I mean “USA! USA! USA!” chanting fanatics at the death of an old man and his family? Really?

An IRREFUTABLE Surveillance state and Militarized and quite Rabidly Fanatical “Police” just looking for “Any Reason” to light up the masses!

A Culture of Denial, Hypocrisy, Rationalization and Fake “Politics” that is more about “2 issues that make the brand” than it is about “reality”..

This is why Germany is currently a copyright troll’s playground where even media owners who don’t sue in other countries go after people in Germany.

Germany’s answer to copyright infringement and questionable claims is to set the end compensation paid out as lower than other countries do.

Obviously life needs to change there where today are big rulings which do help. There obviously needs to be more focus on proving guilt.
