Creative Commons launches video sharing fundraising campaign

Creative Commons is using Revver’s video sharing platform for their latest fundraising campaign.

Revver is a video sharing site that allows people to upload, and share videos they’ve created. The people who upload their work get 50% of the revenue generated by the ads that are shown at the end of each video.

Creative Commons uploaded their short videos to Revver, and as long as the campaign lasts Creative Commons will collect all the ad revenue. The fundraising campaign will end December 31, 2006 and has already been quite successful since Google announced that it will donate $30,000.
