Demonoid Goes Down, Sort Of

demonoidStarting last night Demonoid became inaccessible to its millions of users.

The site appears to be caught in some kind of redirect loop.

TorrentFreak reached out to the site’s owner to hear more about the downtime. When we get a response we will update this post.

Last week we showed that the FBI and IFPI weren’t too happy with Demonoid moving to the Ukraine a few years ago, but we don’t expect that this relates to the current issues.

For now, there’s nothing to worry about. All signs indicate that this is merely a technical issue.

The site faced a similar problem in August, that was eventually resolved after 24 hours.
