I self-released my first album in 2008, posted it on demonoid, and of course included my opinion in the description about the great potential for bit-torrent to be used as a tool for musicians to gain exposure and exploit its massive distribution capability… The global admin posted my torrent’s description, with a link, in the news section – top & center of the homepage. 20,000+ downloads, and counting…
It gave me the encouragement I needed to stick with my music, more than just as a ‘hobby’. Almost 500 people commented, with (priceless) constructive criticism & compliments. I’ve treasured the ability to browse through those comments, over the years, whenever I needed a bit of inspiration. Now, its all gone… Of course, my stuff is on all the major trackers, but Demonoid had a real sense of community, which is lacking on the other sites. They’re all just hit-and-run.
I WANT MY DEMONOID BACK, GODDAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. NOW.

rares are hard to find and if you are lucky enough to find them in the first place they usually don’t have many seeds at all,if any (dead torrent) ,besides some people don’t like hollywood movie’s anymore i mean after all how many times do they need to make a new “Men in black” or a new “bat man” movie, before they get a new idea for a original movie instead of just using the same old idea’s and creating squeal after squeal after squeal after squeal and just continuing that same cycle. on that “Go to any hollywood movie, you won’t find one with less than 100 seeds”-try to find a torrent for the movie “The Vagrant (1992)” that’s a hollywood movie it might be a little old but its a great movie and it dose not have any seeds in fact you can’t even find a torrent for it right now,its a almost perfect example of a rare.however i myself am a big anime fan because the writers for anime are much more creative and original than hollywood,check out “gantz ” , “crystal blaze”,”tokko” or “Mermaid Forest”,and see what i mean,you wont find originality or quality story lines like that in hollywood anymore,a long time ago back in the days of the show ” the twilight zone” good graphics did not exist and the movies and shows relied on the story lines to make their shows good,but not any more now its just all about a stupid idea that more explosions and better graphics make movies good and the story line dose not matter at all anymore.i think that a good movie has a good story line (most important part of a movie) and the graphics are not important,but better graphics can help do a better job of telling the story(the least important part of a movie,it only aids in telling the story hence if the story is crappy the movie will be crappy no matter how good the graphics are).

ya it really is and to top it off the actual artist gets paid shit on the dollar whale the company that contracts them (record label or what ever – but certainly not the artist and has absolutely nothing to do with the actual production of the song itself) gets paid a fortune,and then speaks All anti-piracy rhetoric for artists without the artists’ consent, to top it all off.(the artist only gets paid 5% to 8% of the profits and the record labels keep the rest for downloads from iTunes and stuff),(Artists are paid royalties usually somewhere between 8% and 25% of the suggested retail price of the recording) . ( ” http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/music-royalties6.htm ” )after knowing how the artist get paid shit on the dollar it’s no wonder why ,All the anti-piracy rhetoric is record labels and stuff speaking for artists without the artists’ consent.because before a artist even could consider that they need to first correct the issue where they are being shitted on by the record labels who are making all the real money here and not only are they shitting on the artist but they are also shitting on all the rest of us too with their net censor ship campaigns and their All anti-piracy rhetoric when they have their product priced so expensive that nobody can afford it anyway,(people have family’s to feed and bills to pay ya know,why the fuck would someone chose to buy a couple of songs over keeping the heater on in winter,is that really even a ethical question to ask someone(hey do you want to freeze to deaf listing to my song because you know you will never be able to afford it without some sacrifices or do you want to chose to pay the heating bill in order to keep the heat on and not ever get to listen to my song?are you sure about your choice because if you chose to pay to keep the heat on you will be depriving of this great music )is this really a ethical question to ask someone,because it sounds like a really fuckedup thing to ask to me
