The review was not just limited to one product. It compared products. But it doesn’t matter if it’s one product or not. If the product sucks, it sucks and you are actually allowed to say so.

So again, you are an idiot. DMCA is not to take down reviews you don’t like.

And that’s exactly what the original article is saying that the reviewer did and is wondering why their review get taken down. So feel free to go back and re-read the article.

Oh and review comments are totally diffrent then a review dedicated to one product.

Here’s my opinion on what the basics of copyright should be.
30 years with exception to software which should be 15 years and attach a use it or lose it clause in which if the copyrighted work is not commercially exploited (marketed, supported, or made legally available to the public) for at least 5 years, that work becomes public domain.

Also, the true purpose of copyright is to promote the works of great minds. What I mean is that When an artist makes his arts (whatever type it may be) available to the public, he would profit of those works for 30 years and when those copyrights expire and he still wants a steady stream of income, use that great artistic mind again to create great works to produce income for another 30 years.
