Now legal publication The Lawyer has looked a little closer at the future of the procedure used by the companies to gain access to Internet subscriber identities en masse – the Norwich Pharmacal Order.

Has the incompetence and abuse of process demonstrated by ACS:Law and MediaCAT ruined the chances of other companies looking to do the same, or will the whole thing be easily revisited upon the introduction of the UK’s Digital Economy Act?
