Ah, but most users are indeed uninformed and/or unintelligent. Many of them are often labeled as an “average citizen,” are the very same people who use a computer without really knowing how it works in the slightest, and are the very same people who buy into obvious propaganda such as ‘piracy harms society because potential profit is stolen from the authors’.

While this isn’t true for everyone, most people simply don’t know any better. They are so indoctrinated by society (and many of them too stubborn to alter their beliefs even if they are proven wrong) that they will stand against piracy while believing that they are somehow “fighting the good fight,” even though these so-called ‘pirates’, in reality, steal nothing.

They’d further do well to realize that google is not the internet. The more you can divorce yourselves from them now, the better off we’ll all be.

To go after TBP, Google or even entire governments is cheaper then to go after each and every downloader.

I say: let RIAA, MAFIAA and all that crap spend all their money with lawyers, and let Google spend all its money with their lawyers to defent it self.

Google is the world most offended site. it can be used to search mp3, movie, anything! It just doesn’t promote the search as aggressively as Baidu.com

But I do agree that the piracy issue lies within the consumer and the maker. And update some stupid laws.
