Dotcom is a criminal, he has been convicted and openly admits to having committed crimes regarding hacking. In that he is a criminal.

I also do not believe that Key lies as much as Dotcom. This is because Key has no reason to lie and he knows if he ever gets caught lying then that it for career. Something which Dotcom tried to prove so he could end his career.

And yes megaupload was no worse than rapidshare or anything else however those sites don’t take up to 6% of the worlds internet traffic and they don’t have owners who go around flaunting their wealth.

Believe it or not in the 6 months leading up to the election the media as aligned with the left, constantly attack the government. Other attacks such as dirty politics were lauded by the media as a perfect approach for them to make a hit without them being held entirely responsible.

Labelling me a bully would also put me in line with dotcom. The same guy who treats his employees like shit and then threatens them when they leave, thinks that he is in fact smarter than the New Zealand public and that the world is against him. It’s not.

At the end of the day he did break the law, as much as anyone wants to argue megaupload’s main use was to watch content without having to pay for the service. Something I am guilty of.

By being able to set up mega it shows how the government in New Zealand is not that ‘dirty’ as Dotcom is well within his legal rights to do so, as he knows where he went wrong previously.

I can honestly say no ZB listeners would have considered voting for his party because they firstly tend to be right wing and secondly are smart enough not to fall for his fake political claims. The Internet Party stood for nothing short of just trying to get into parliament. At least the Mana Party did have good intensions

I dont know what type of conspiracy websites you read and follow but our political system is relatively transparent. These ‘lies’ that people are talking about Key are made up out of desperation from the Dotcom camp and the desperate left who see another 3 and possible 6 years in opposition.

New Zealand is not a 2 party system as we use MMP. It just so happens that in this election everyone was either worried about the German meglomaniac or the socialists on the left who rode our economy on a high during the economic boom and left nothing in the kitty for the recession.

I hope he’s got his bags packed because I personally can’t wait for him to go.
