Are you trying to prove you're a computer illiterate. I guess you would be one for voting for virus scanner support. Maybe your one of those sharing broken files (luckily you are out after 3 errors in uTorrent).

So first get a course on computers then search the internet for what "locking files" actually means and last think a while about what the problem might be of files not being locked during seeding. And now, go and be ashamed of your comment.

I like µTorrent like it is.
I use it along with µTorrent Ultra Accelerator from TrafficSpeeders(got it from Softpedia), and I`m very pleased with its performances!

[BJones: Sorry, these sorts of programs are useless. The best performance you can get is by optimizing your settings, and from initial tests, this actually makes things slower. This gets my 'avoid completely, scamware' rating]

"LOCK seeding files"

It's called Peer-to-Peer for a reason, if you don't like sharing, you may as well pay (lol pay for piracy) for Usenet or Megaupload/Hotfile (avoid Rapidshare like the plague, though. You'll find out that even paid accounts are limited).

@#60 and assuming you are also #51
Nothing new to my previous comment if you don't read correctly or misinterpret it.

I (already) mentioned:
- Nero. (v6 to v7 is huge enough)
- FEAR! of bloatware is normal.
- Antivirus issue. Not about the weight of the feature but users technically not understanding it. (marketing feature like 200W PMPO for 2W speakers).
- Making export/import possible of uTorrent variables is an easy way for NOT adding features. I agree with the solution. I might use it to create my own scripts if i ever have a purpose for it.
- Priority doesn't add weight in this case as it already exists. Its an EXAMPLE of a possibly unused feature that is always active in the program.

I actually do know something about programming, nothing big but in many scripting types and a few languages. Don't make claims you cannot back up.

Using uTorrent myself. Just being critical/analytical about the features which you don't seem to be able to. There was a vote so they certainly won't listen to comments on TF so dont worry about that. Since Vuze emerged from Azereus (already much resources), uTorrent is the best (Windows) client available but its size grows relatively fast.

My alternate feature list:
1. LOCK seeding files (very social feature)
2. Shared list of all previously encountered (working) trackers added to every new (unrestricted) torrent before starting.
3. Auto remove user defined trackers before torrent starts. Like TPB which doesn't exist anymore. Or trackers that always fail (like private trackers while not being a member).
4. Override greyed out DHT.
5. Auto remove duplicate tracker entries before starting torrent.

(I use an older 2.0 build for now so don't know if any of this already exists)
