Excuse my ignorance. What prevents P2P from using bandwidth only to setup an encrypted transaction? I’m thinking of black phone technology, so the VPN is not running constantly? This only requires the two user’s human presence once to set up initial trusted secrets. After that, the pair can establish encrypted and automated connections…

In the UK the large ISP’s have started blocking sites like tubeplus, which do not host anything. They merely redirect you to a site like putlocker, which does host the video. [So tubeplus are in effect just doing what a search engine does]

However when you attempt to go to tubeplus now, a notice from your ISP appears saying that you are not allowed to go to this site, as ruled by a high court.

And yet, I can still log onto youtube any time i want, which doesnt redirect you to another site, youtube actually hosts pirated material themselves.

Tens of thousands of videos. Documentaries, films, your favorite tv series etc.

So because youtube have more money than other tube sites, who are actually not breaking the law, where as youtube are….you can visit youtube, according to the courts, who host pirated material, but you cannot visit tube sites which dont host the material but redirect you to a site which does!

Thats fucking ridiculous, and shows how utterly crooked our ‘high court’ actually is.

There goes the internet… Now it’s just a matter of time until they can use this as pretext to block any site that they don’t like.

We soon will wake up having access only to corporate, political and religious websites because those are the only ones that are legal, moral and informative.

This is the beginning of a digital book burning, I’m sad I had to see this day.
