EZTV Now Accessible Under New Domain Names
Written by enigmax on October 28, 2007In the wake of the OiNK takedown, many thousands of people started to panic today when they tried to access EZTV and instead got directed to Google. But there is no need to worry, EZTV is alive and well and now available via two new domains.
It’s understandable why the BitTorrent community feels a bit jittery this week after the shock demise of the OiNK tracker, particularly when another top site seemingly disappeared today.
Back in March we described EZTV as ‘the leading TV-torrent distribution group’ so when people tried to access www.eztvefnet.org today and got simply directed back to Google, panic started to creep in.
Luckily, this error is the result of some administrative issues and EZTV is alive, well and offering this message to their users:
Due to some misunderstandings during the transfers of domains relating to EZTV, the domain www.eztvefnet.org has been temporarily lost and now appears to redirect to a google query for EZTV. While we are working on resolving this issue, please be advised that there are alternative domains leading to our site - www.eztv.it and www.eztv.nl
NovaKing, admin at EZTV told TorrentFreak: “We are currently having some dns issues with eztvefnet.org so would like to inform our loyal fans that we prefer for people to start using the shorter easier to remember domain names!”

And it seems that RSS hasn’t been brought back up with the new domain names. This really sucks, now I am going to have to check eztv more often to make sure I download the shows I want.
EZTV IS the top site for TV…..so you know what… why dont you people just leave. stop talking shit. just go.. either download and seed and support or go elsewhere im sure all of us loyal supporters do not want to hear the shit that is spewing from you. so just leave. go to best buy get a fucking VCR and tape your shit. im tired of listening to you fucking leechers whine. go fuck yourself and we will call it even.
I like how I’m watching the latest episode of CSI and like half way through the airing of it, the episode is already on eztv ready to download lol.
EZTV is the bomb. They have been the most reliable source for clean releases. Because of them I have years of programing and search for their tag for the latest releases

I worded that poorly, what I meant is that EZTV has been more reliable THAN topsites, especially those I used to use when I was a syncer in the scene.
Nothing beats the speeds you get from topsites, but EZTV has been much more reliable overall…slow and steady wins the race I guess.

No it’s not: it’s the bottom end of p2p, after private sites, Usenet, FTP (topsites)
Doesn’t mean EZTV isn’t OK, it is but not very fast & not very safe

Downloaded files contain only the release group…
Plus, EZTV don’t have ads or any “donation” button… which makes them kinda more respectable than most of the torrent websites. Yep, that’s right, the admins of EZTV lose money because of the server costs and all, and don’t have (nor ask) anything in return.

EZTV, like any other source, is only as safe as you make it. I have never dl’ed a file from EZTV that was not what it said it was.
Everything that is released on EZTV has been checked by an admin. No one can upload torrents but the admins. So yeah, there has never been and there will never be any fake on EZTV.

You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about!!! EZTV is the top not the bottom because unlike Usenet, it’s free. If you want to download superfast via newsgroups, you need to pay money for that privilege! Private sites suck–I know from first hand knowledge being a member of scenemachine & torrentleech. Especially scenemachine, they don’t have enough members and I don’t download much from them anymore because you must seed back to 1:1 or keeping seeding for 48 hours even if there are no leechers! So for example I just wanted to see what would happen if I downloaded the latest episode of ‘The Hills’; I couldn’t even get close to seeding back to 1, I had to keep my computer on for a lousy 48 hours–that costs money (paying more for my electric bill) & for what?
The same goes for torrentleech, in that most times I can seed back to one but I NEED seed back every single time I download anything–again that costs me money in the end! EZTV is great in that if I don’t want to seed back to one every single TV program I download, I don’t have to–that saves me money! If I’m downloading 5 TV torrents off of EZTV and when I’m done, if I’ve seed maybe 3 back to one and 2 others back to maybe 60% or 70 %, I turn off my computer!!! I’m under no obligation to keep my computer on and wait until every single torrent I’ve downloaded is seeded back to 100%!!
You also say EZTV is not very fast–yah maybe if you’re on dial-up! I’m on high-speed, if I set my uTorrent for unlimited download speed and 60kB/s upload speed, I average easily 150 kB/s as my download speed! But I’ve gone as high as 400 kB/s download speed with EZTV–so what the hell are you talking about?
Also you say EZTV is not very safe? In what way, are you having unprotected sex while you download? There’s no viruses attached, there’s no spyware attached, these files are strictly AVI’s; you download them and then you play them–simple. There’s no RAR’s to unpack, so there’s never any torrents packed with password protected files, where you need to go to a site and pay to get a password. By the way those people are professional thieves, even if they charge a $1 to get a password, if you pay by credit card, there’s nothing stopping them from selling your credit card number on the Internet!
So where are you getting your information that EZTV isn’t good or it isn’t safe?
Also what I love about EZTV is you can search for a TV show and they’ll have lots of past active torrents to download from past episodes. And once again so many people are seeding and leeching past episodes that the download speed for past episodes are just as fast or are even sometimes faster than the current episodes for the same show. A perfect example for me is that I’ve recently gotten into MythBusters and I’ve downloaded most of this past season via EZTV–there’s lots of people still sharing these torrents!
I also like EZTV’s TV news, the calender, and I especially like it’s unique countdown list that it provides; other P2P, private torrents and Usenet services don’t provide these things!
So…you were saying about EZTV…what–you kind of lost me at the word ‘not’!
