Filecrop Bans Porn “Out of Respect for Women”
The popular cyberlocker search engine Filecrop decided to disable access to all porn on its site.
An interesting move, especially when we read the Filecrop’s motivation.
We are pleased to announce that we decided to remove pornography from our search.
Respect woman. Be happy. Peace!
Apparently the cyberlocker thinks porn is disrespectful to women, or one woman at least.
Our guess is that in addition to the respect issue, Filecrop is overloaded with porn related DMCA notices.
Unfortunately the porn filter is also disabling access to some non-adult content.
