If they are not morons, but rather the issue is power seeking, we’re back to the same problem : easily controlled, or bought and paid for.

Either way, hoping for change from the political class is quixotic. Social revolution, by definition of the masses, is the answer.

However I would completely agree that politicians in Texas are morons. The question then becomes, how is it that such a large group of morons obtain and remain in power.
